The new film “Mathildes store drøm” (Mathilde’s great dream) will be shown at Kilden in Kristiansand August 30th at 17.00. There will also be live-performances by Three Generations, Sharrons dansestudio and Livsgledekoret Stayin’ Alive, conducted by Thomas Stanghelle.

Filmpremiere and mini-concert:
The new film "Mathilde's store drøm" ("Mathilde's big dream") will have its premiere on e-Teatret, Lillesand, January 25th 2012 at 12.00 hrs.
There will also be a mini-concert with Three Generations.
The big dream of Thomas Stanghelle's singing grandmother 93-year old Mathilde Marker is the main theme in this documentary, which is produced and directed by the filmteam Fabel & Fakta.
The filmpremiere is presented by Lillesand kommune.

The families Stanghelle & Rybak held their 15th annual summerconcert Friday July 8 th (Thomas Stanghelle's birthday) during the festival "Kaperdagene" in Farsund. Highlights from Stanghelle's opera-musical "Some Sunny Night" was also performed.

Norway's got talent 2011!
Three Generations took part in Norske Talenter ("Norway's got talent") on TV2. The members of the group in this TV-competition was Thomas Stanghelle (tenor), his mother Turid Stanghelle (mezzo-soprano) and grandmother Mathilde Marker (soprano), 92 years old.

Thomas Stanghelle was the leading host (konferansier) and artist at Ketil Moe's Race for Life (Mosjonsløp) in Kristiansand Zoo (Dyrepark). He performed highlights from his opera-musicals Some Sunny Night and "Mathilde fra Ramsøya" together with his 92-year old grandmother Mathilde Marker (soprano), and several other artists and dancers. Thomas Stanghelle also performed with Helene Bøksle and other guest-artists.

Thomas Stanghelle and his 91-year old grandmother Mathilde Marker achieved standing ovations at The Norwegian Opera in Bjørvika, as guest artists in Alexander Rybak's concert. Among other guest-artists were Arve Tellefsen, Dennis Storhøi, Elisabeth "Bettan" Andreassen, Hanne Krogh, Stephen Ackles and Barrat Due's Orchestra.

Our annual summer concert, combined with birthday celebrations, was this year held as "Olsok-concert".

Three Generations were touring the South of Norway with twelve concerts May 26th. to June 6th 2009. They were performing songs from their new album Three Generations 4.

Mathilde at 90(!) song together with her daugther, the mezzosopran Turid and grandson Thomas Stanghelle, tenor and composer of "The Ketil Moe-opera" and "The Accordion Opera". Through stories, humor and earnest; the show was a soul-stirring musical journey including opera, carols, trolls, gospel, hymns, musicals, accordion and self-composed music.

The summer concert of the year - in Kristiansand! This was the summer-cocert of the year (2008), with Three generations Stanghelle, Lindesnes Trekkspillklubb, Hanne Krogh, Jørn Hoel, Ingunn Roland, Igor & Alexander Rybak.
Saturday August 2nd. at Kristiansand Domkirke.

The concert filled the whole cathedral with audience and lasted for about 2 hours and 45 minutes. All the participating artists congratulated Mathilde who passed 90, she also song herself in the concert with "Three Generations".

The 89-year old Mathilde Marker and her daughter Turid and her grandson Thomas made a show from Mathildes versitile musical experiences. The show gave the audience popular, classical and religious songs.
Mathilde transfered her love for music to her family, and they also presented what they love and what they partly have made themselves.
Thomas is known as the composer of the opera-musical "Some Sunny Night"©
